Our aim is to put sustainable development into practice, ensuring valuable timber is responsibly sourced, carefully processed, and given a meaningful second life. By sourcing and facilitating the removal of large, ancient, and windblown trees, as well as trees that must be felled for safety or land management reasons, we are able to convert this material into usable timber sections. In many cases, this allows a tree to continue its life in functional, artistic, or architectural form for hundreds of years.
All general sawlog timber is sourced from managed, sustainable woodlands, where trees are grown, harvested responsibly, and replanted. These saw logs are selected for quality, strength, and long-term use.
We work closely with landowners, local estates, tree surgeons, and private individuals, and operate our own machinery to extract timber sympathetically when ground conditions allow, minimising environmental impact and preserving the surrounding landscape.
